Mark your calendars for Dance Week at HHE! For the week starting Monday, February 13th, your Stars will be getting their groove on with dance lessons during their specialist times! These lessons will be provided by Gaylen Suave," The Dance Dude", from GSC Productions for students in all grade levels.
At the end of Dance Week on Friday, February 17th, the PTA is hosting a GLOW DANCE from 6-8pm in the school gym. This event is free to attend and open to all HH families, including staff and their families. Wear neon clothes and glow under the lights! Stop by the Glow Booth and accessorize! Get your face painted with (body-safe) neon paint! Popcorn and water will be provided free of charge, but if you really want to cool off, Kona Ice will be available for purchase. This exciting community-building event is one you don't want to miss! Get out your dancing shoes and get ready to GLOW!
In case you haven't heard, there will be a secondary "low-key" dance floor for students and families to enjoy! The addition of a second dance floor was done to ensure all students have a space to dance and enjoy the music without feeling overwhelmed. Fidget items will be provided, but we ask parents/caregivers to bring headphones if their student is sensitive to loud noise. The secondary dance floor will also be welcoming to younger students who aren't comfortable dancing on the main floor.
