The PTA invites you to join at Camp Read-A-Lot to celebrate all things literacy in the great outdoors (AKA the HHE gym). 

This community-building event will take place on Thursday, March 164h from 6:30 - 8:00pm

What is Camp Read-A-Lot?

Camp Read-A-Lot is a very special PTA-sponsored event that celebrates the great outdoors and all things literacy with fun, inclusive crafts and activities for all ages! During this one-of a kind event, the gym will be transformed into a camp-like setting inspired by some of our National Parks!

There will be trees, tents, "campfires" and- of course- LOTS OF BOOKS!

 

Crafts and Activities:

  • Storyteller Bracelets
  • Fishing for Poems
  • Illustration Station
  • Letters in the Sand
  • And much more!

 

Featuring:

  • Special Guest Readers
  • Book Swap
  • Cozy Campsites
  • Sensory Calming Space

 

Additional Information:

  • Families are encouraged to wear outdoor gear or pajamas. The cozier the better!
  • This even will coincide with Family Night at the Book Fair (located in the HHE library
