Hello Northshore Families and Staff, 

As a reminder, beginning Monday, March 11, 2019 all schools will add an additional ten minutes to the school day. This is part of our snow make up plan. Please know that buses will pick up students 10 minutes earlier beginning March 11. Don’t forget, this weekend is daylight saving time, so be sure to set your clock forward one hour on March 10 to accommodate for the time change.  

Ten Minutes Added to School Day

• Beginning Monday, March 11, school will begin ten minutes earlier than normal.
• No changes to school dismissal times.
• View updated school bell schedules

School Buses

• School buses will pick up students 10 minutes earlier than originally scheduled. Updated pickup times can be found using Transportation’s online route finder.
• Special Education school bus pick up times may be adjusted according to need. Drivers will communicate individually with families if there are any changes to pickup times. These changes will not be reflected on Transportation’s online route finder. 
• Afternoon drop-off times for all full days and remaining early release days stay the same.

Wednesday Schedule

• March 20 and June 5 remain early release days.
• All other Wednesdays are full days.
• No seventh period on Wednesdays.
• Wednesday after-school activities are a school-based decision.

Elementary Conferences

• The rescheduled elementary conferences will be held Friday, April 5, 2019.
• Elementary schools will release early on this day, per regular conference day schedules.

Last Day of School

• Monday, June 24, 2019.
• Last day will be a full day with no early release.

Additional Details

• Elementary band and orchestra will begin 10 minutes earlier.
• Zero period will begin 10 minutes earlier.
• No changes to the last day of third quarter.
• No changes to Spring Break.
• No changes to graduation dates.
